Announced and showcased during Captivate was the Cross-Platform Play for the PS Vita system version of Street Fighter X Tekken which allows owners of the PS Vita system version to compete against owners of the PS3 version anywhere in the world, via Wi-Fi or 3G.
Other features confirmed for the PS Vita system version of Street Fighter X Tekken were the introduction of touch controls, local and Wi-Fi multiplayer plus Near functionality alongside all the content from the home console version.
Along with this information, Capcom have also released three new videos for Street Fighter x Tekken on the Vita. Check them out after the jump!

Here are two new trailers for Steel Battalion Heavy Armor from Capcom’s Captivate! Steel Battalion is an Xbox 360 exclusive that will be compatible with the Kinect.
Steel Battalion Heavy Armor, a collaboration between Capcom and From Software and an Xbox 360 exclusive, introduced a brand new online four player Cooperative Multiplayer Mode available on the Xbox LIVE online entertainment network when the title releases on June 19 in North America and from June 22 across Europe.
Attending media were invited to work together, using the innovative mix of Kinect for Xbox 360 and regular controller play, and defeat the enemy’s Vertical Tanks. Watch the trailers after the jump!

Capcom today confirmed new information and details on its previously announced game line-up for 2012 stemming from its annual media showcase event, Captivate, which took place in Rome last week.

Ubisoft reveals more information about Assassin’s Creed III through an all-new video and a series of screenshots. These assets highlight the new hero’s background, including weapons he uses and the different environments he will be in throughout the game.
Set against the backdrop of the American Revolution in the late 18th century, Assassin’s Creed III introduces a new hero, Ratohnhaké:ton, of Native American and English heritage. Adopting the name Connor, he becomes the new voice for justice in the ancient war between the Assassins and Templars. Players become an Assassin in the war for liberty against ruthless tyranny in the most stylized and fluid combat experiences in the franchise to date. Assassin’s Creed III spans the Revolutionary War, taking gamers from the vibrant, untamed frontier to bustling colonial towns and the intense, chaotic battlefields where George Washington’s Continental Army clashed with the imposing British Army.
Gamers who pre-order Assassin’s Creed III at GameStop, Amazon.com or Best Buy will receive a Limited Edition collectible case featuring artwork created by award-winning comic book artist Alex Ross. Check out the video and screens after the jump.

Check out some gameplay on the new Jacinto and Raven Down maps for Gears of War 3! The time has come. Get ready to battle the “Forces of Nature”
Launching today, the “Gears of War 3” “Forces of Nature” pack adds five new multiplayer maps, each featuring unique weather conditions that will push your team to its limit. In Aftermath you’ll slog through the streets of a sinking city as it floods, while Artillery has you fighting tornado-force winds in addition to your opponents. The heavy fog in Cover may help to obscure your movements, but provides your targets with the same advantage. Jacinto’s torrential rains coupled with the risk of Imulsion exposure will make you pay for every inch of gained ground, and Raven Down’s unrelenting snow storms transform the battleground into an icy killing field.
Also included in the pack are 250 Achievement Points and four new multiplayer characters; including the Savage Hunter, as well as new variants of Commando Dom, Mechanic Baird, and the Savage Grenadier Elite.

Featuring cars, trucks, vans and hearses crashing, bashing and smashing to victory, Codemasters released this full-impact DiRT Showdown ‘Massive Damage’ gameplay video.
The ‘Massive Damage’ video features work-in-progress gameplay footage and reveals the destruction-focussed game modes to feature in DiRT Showdown. In demolition derby event Rampage, eightracers take no prisoners, earning points for spectacular smashes on their rivals’ vehicles and eliminating other drivers in gladiatorial automotive auditoriums. DiRT Showdown’s Knock Out mode is also revealed, featuring drivers using their cars as weapons to force opponents off a raised platform in a chaotic battle for domination. Eliminated vehicles can re-enter the fray by racing up ramps and jumping back onto the platform, where points are earned for knock-outs, hits and owning the ring alone.
DiRT Showdown is the action-packed extension of the award-winning DiRT off-road racing series and is set to debut May 2012 for the Xbox 360, PLAYSTATION 3 and PC. Check the new trailer out after the jump!

The first collection of DLC for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is now available for download to all Xbox Live players! And to celebarate, Activision announced that this weekend players will be earning double XP.
Content Collection #1 sets the bar for variety, value and fan-service in the FPS DLC marketplace, featuring six fully-fledged Call of Duty experiences. The full loadout includes:
Spec Ops:
Black Ice: This Special Ops mission plunges combatants deep into a frozen diamond mine via snowmobile in order to infiltrate a secret weapons plant and initiate the self-destruct sequence to take the facility offline for good.
Negotiator: India is the backdrop for a Special Ops hostage extraction, where gamers must execute flawless breach-and-clears and negotiate a maze of surface streets to ensure the safety of rescued civilians.
Multiplayer Maps:
Liberation: Players take up positions in a militarized Central Park in the heart of NYC, a sprawling deathscape ripe for long-range sniper and LMG kills.
Piazza: An idyllic seaside village, an Italian getaway gone rogue, where blind corners and a complex warren of branching pathways pose danger at every turn.
Overwatch: A compact, sky-high battle arena set in a construction site atop a New York City office tower.
Black Box: Players seek tactical advantage in multi-level hillside homes overlooking a downed Air Force One, as a luxe SoCal neighborhood turns into a warzone.
