Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 takes the epic battle to all new heights with 12 new characters from the Marvel and Capcom universes, a refined fighting system, eight new stages and new modes. The PS Vita edition of Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 builds upon the console experience, complete with all modes from the console version including Heroes & Heralds mode, plus new features designed specifically for the PlayStation Vita.
The PS Vita version features online and local multiplayer, touch screen functionality, NEAR support and everything you would find in the PS3 version. In addition, the PS Vita version includes a Spectator Mode and Replay function that allows players to watch or share exciting matches over wi-fi. PS Vita exclusive Gold Herald color options are also available for the characters. As an integrated option, gamers can use the PS Vita as the “Ultimate Controller” to play the PS3 version of the game.
Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 for the PS Vita is rated T for Teen by the ESRB and carries a low MSRP of $39.99. As a launch title for the PlayStation Vita system, the game will be available alongside the PS Vita First Edition bundle on February 15, 2012.
The regular launch date for the PS Vita system is February 22, 2012. The game is also currently available for PS3 and X360. Watch the trailer after the jump!

Two of videogaming’s most iconic characters are entering the ring and going toe to toe. Exclusive to the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita versions of Street Fighter X Tekken, Capcom’s very own Mega Man will be joined by Namco’s mascot, Pac-Man.
For the first time, the version of Mega Man featured on the original Mega Man 1 box art will make the jump from the cover to be a playable character, with Pac-Man taking on all challengers as he rides atop Mokujin.
Mega Man and Pac-Man join the previously announced PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita exclusive characters, Cole from Infamous plus Toro and Kuro.
Street Fighter X Tekken will release for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on March 6 in North America and March 9 across Europe with PlayStation Vita and PC versions to follow. Check out the new trailer after the jump!

The free Heroes & Heralds mode DLC for Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 on PS3 and X360 is available today for download. In addition, Capcom is pleased to confirm that the Heroes & Heralds mode will be included standard in the upcoming PlayStation Vita version of Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3!
Heroes & Heralds is a separate mode that adds new and customizable features to online and offline gameplay. Players will choose between two factions – Heroes or Heralds– and will engage in a series of battles with the opposing side to help save the world or take it over.
Gameplay in the Heroes & Heralds mode will be altered through the acquisition of Ability cards that range from basic alterations (speed boost) to game-changing, combo enhancing powers (invisibility or ability to pass through projectiles). Cards can be used in online and offline versions of the Heroes & Heralds modes as well as the training mode. Ability cards are based on classic Marvel and Capcom characters.

NIS America have released a batch of new screenshots for Disgaea 3: Absence of Detention! Coming to the Playstation Vita in Spring of 2012.
Disgaea 3 is the third game in the Disgaea series, a hardcore, turn-based strategy RPG series made popular on the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Portable. In Disgaea, character units have a limit to their movement and attack ranges based on level and weapons equipped. There are other special game systems that let you take advantage of the 3D battle map, many of which are unique to the Disgaea® series.

Check out this new trailer that explains a bit more about Heroes and Heralds, and shows off the new gameplay with it!
This past weekend at New York Comic Con, Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 producer Ryota Niitsuma took the wraps off a new mode for the game called “Heroes and Heralds.”
Heroes and Heralds, available as free DLC post-launch, is a new single player and multiplayer, team-based mode in Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 where you unlock brand-new abilities with upgrade cards, customize your favorite character with new powers and compete in groups as either Heroes defending Earth from Galactus or as one of Galactus’ Heralds.
