Featuring cars, trucks, vans and hearses crashing, bashing and smashing to victory, Codemasters released this full-impact DiRT Showdown ‘Massive Damage’ gameplay video.
The ‘Massive Damage’ video features work-in-progress gameplay footage and reveals the destruction-focussed game modes to feature in DiRT Showdown. In demolition derby event Rampage, eightracers take no prisoners, earning points for spectacular smashes on their rivals’ vehicles and eliminating other drivers in gladiatorial automotive auditoriums. DiRT Showdown’s Knock Out mode is also revealed, featuring drivers using their cars as weapons to force opponents off a raised platform in a chaotic battle for domination. Eliminated vehicles can re-enter the fray by racing up ramps and jumping back onto the platform, where points are earned for knock-outs, hits and owning the ring alone.
DiRT Showdown is the action-packed extension of the award-winning DiRT off-road racing series and is set to debut May 2012 for the Xbox 360, PLAYSTATION 3 and PC. Check the new trailer out after the jump!

The first collection of DLC for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is now available for download to all Xbox Live players! And to celebarate, Activision announced that this weekend players will be earning double XP.
Content Collection #1 sets the bar for variety, value and fan-service in the FPS DLC marketplace, featuring six fully-fledged Call of Duty experiences. The full loadout includes:
Spec Ops:
Black Ice: This Special Ops mission plunges combatants deep into a frozen diamond mine via snowmobile in order to infiltrate a secret weapons plant and initiate the self-destruct sequence to take the facility offline for good.
Negotiator: India is the backdrop for a Special Ops hostage extraction, where gamers must execute flawless breach-and-clears and negotiate a maze of surface streets to ensure the safety of rescued civilians.
Multiplayer Maps:
Liberation: Players take up positions in a militarized Central Park in the heart of NYC, a sprawling deathscape ripe for long-range sniper and LMG kills.
Piazza: An idyllic seaside village, an Italian getaway gone rogue, where blind corners and a complex warren of branching pathways pose danger at every turn.
Overwatch: A compact, sky-high battle arena set in a construction site atop a New York City office tower.
Black Box: Players seek tactical advantage in multi-level hillside homes overlooking a downed Air Force One, as a luxe SoCal neighborhood turns into a warzone.

In this second episode of the Heavy Hitter series for Bioshock Infinite, we go back to the very first enemy most fans saw in the BioShock Infinite announcement trailer: the powerful, gigantic yet agile Handyman. Man? Machine? Hand model? You’ll have to find out for yourself when the game launches in October!

In Battlefield 3: Close Quarters, players are dropped into a frantic, infantry-only theatre of war. Frostbite 2 high definition destruction makes the environment come alive as everything from furniture to plaster gets shot to pieces.
Players will feel the intensity of the world exploding around them as rubble and broken pieces pile up on the floor, while tight level design and vertical gameplay create a highly competitive environment. Battlefield 3: Close Quarters also introduces new weapons, assignments and unique dog tags to bring back to the base game.

Along with the announcement of Assassin’s Creed III, Ubisoft have released a plethora of new information as well as a new trailer for the highly anticipated sequel to Assassin’s Creed 2!
Assassin’s Creed III will hit store shelves on October 30, 2012, encouraging gamers to experience the American Revolutionary War not written about in history books. The largest project in Ubisoft’s history also introduces a new hero for the ages.
With a development cycle of over three years and twice the production capacity of any previous Ubisoft game, Assassin’s Creed III is set to release on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Windows PC and is also in development for Wii U from Nintendo. Assassin’s Creed III is developed by Ubisoft Montreal in collaboration with six other Ubisoft studios.

Developed by United Front Games in collaboration with Square Enix London Studios, Sleeping Dogs is a gritty open world cop drama set in the vibrant city of Hong Kong. Taking the role of undercover cop Wei Shen, players are tasked with taking down one of the world’s most fearsome criminal organizations from the inside – the Sun Oh Yee triad.
Offering players an island packed with action, every street corner, market stall, harbor dock or city skyscraper can become an opportunity for intense shoot-outs, adrenaline-fuelled street races and intense, brutal martial arts combat. Featuring one of the most intuitive and imaginative combat systems, Sleeping Dogs empowers players to perform an extensive set of martial arts moves, singlehandedly taking on numerous opponents.
Players perform bone-crunching kicks and combos, vicious counters and a cinematic set of environmental takedowns making use of countless real-world items from circular saws to phone booths, incinerators to refrigerator doors.

Sega has announced a new digital game for Xbox Live Arcade, Playstation Network and PC. Titled: “Hell Yeah! Wrath of the Dead Rabbit!”. Read more below.
SEGA is excited to announce Hell Yeah! Wrath of the Dead Rabbit! What’s this? You haven’t heard of it? That’s because it hasn’t been announced yet! Filled with comical gore, plenty of fake blood spatters and a hot-tempered rabbit prone to extreme violence, what more could you ask for? A drill? Ah, we have that as well.
Located in the depths of hell and developed by Arkedo Studio, this single-player game will be unleashed on Xbox LIVE Arcade for the Xbox 360, PlayStation Network and PC digital download in 2012.
