“11/11/11 was the day I lost any trace of having a life” That is what I believe many people will say when they look back on that day for that is the day that we were graced with the arrival of a new Elder Scrolls game. Not just any Elder Scrolls game, but Skyrim, a game in the making long before it was officially announced at the Spike Video Game Awards in December of 2010, making fans of the series count down the days for nearly a whole year till they could get their hands on the game for themselves.
Skyrim’s storyline is set 200 years after the events that took place in Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. The game starts with a cut scene, highlighting you as a prisoner. At this point, you are neither a male nor female nor do you have a race, your fellow prisoners talk amongst themselves, about what their fate is, with you simply listening. When you arrive at your destination, the character creation begins where you decide your race, gender, and various attributes and classes that will help you on your journey. You have been sentenced to death, and when it all seems over before it’s even started, the first appearance of the stunning, magical dragon takes place. Indirectly saving your life by just causing havoc, you escape and embark on an amazing unforgettable journey, that will keep you engaged and wanting more throughout.

NAMCO BANDAI Games America has just released a new trailer for NARUTO SHIPPUDEN: Ultimate Ninja Storm Generations, the latest entry in the hit NARUTO SHIPPUDEN: Ultimate Ninja Storm franchise which is launching on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on March 13 in North America. The new trailer showcases the incredibly cinematic in-game graphics and highlights a few of the 70+ playable characters in the game.
NARUTO SHIPPUDEN: Ultimate Ninja Storm Generations, will revolutionize online play and ramp up the number of playable and support characters beyond any previous NARUTO SHIPPUDEN titles. In a first for the NARUTO SHIPPUDEN: Ultimate Ninja Storm series, NARUTO SHIPPUDEN: Ultimate Ninja Storm Generations will feature an innovative system that integrates real-world collectible cards with the in-game universe.
The next generation of NARUTO SHIPPUDEN collector cards will each carry a code allowing players to unlock corresponding artwork for their in-game profile and engage in a special mini-battle to unlock a bonus skill and gain an advantage in the main fight.

On Jan. 17, the battle for Sera rages on as Microsoft and Epic mark the New Year with the release of “Fenix Rising,” the third major game add-on for the most critically-acclaimed shooter of 2011, “Gears of War 3.”
Featuring five spectacular new multiplayer maps inspired by significant locales in the “Gears of War 3” campaign, “Fenix Rising” also introduces four new character skins and a new system that allows players to rank up through level 100 multiple times to unlock exclusive emblems and weapon skins.
With the purchase of the add-on, players who attain level 100 will have a choice to “Re-up” for another tour of duty to showcase their valor and dedication as elite “Gears of War” fans. Their experience and rank will be reset, but all other progression (including TrueSkill rating) will remain intact. Players can “Re-up” up to three times, earning a new rank icon color each time: Bronze (default level 100), Red, Green and Gold. Each “Re-up” level after Bronze also awards the player an exclusive, custom weapon skin that cannot be obtained by any other means:
Re-Up Plasma – Animated flowing plasma in gold.
Re-Up Omen – Shiny, red Omen.
Re-Up Electric – Animated, golden electric shocks.

Showing off yet another environment in the game, this trailer is set in a secret area of Devil May Cry. Dante will get transported here when finding secret portals hidden throughout the game.
Set in a contemporary world setting, DmC Devil May Cry retells the origin story of Dante, the brash protagonist of the Devil May Cry series. DmC Devil May Cry is developed by the award-winning studio “Ninja Theory” in collaboration with Capcom, overseen by senior team members from previous Devil May Cry titles.

It was announced today that Alan Wake’s American Nightmare, Remedy Entertainment’s stand-alone digital spin-off for Xbox LIVE Arcade, will include a relentlessly intense arcade mode called “Fight till Dawn”. Published by Microsoft Studios, the game will be released in middle of the first quarter of 2012.
The main story mode in Alan Wake’s American Nightmare is part of the ‘Night Springs’ TV show fiction and offers an exaggerated pulp action adventure where the horrors of reality have the all too easy habit of coming true.
Alan Wake finds himself stuck in an altered reality filled with dangerous shadows; he must leap into action and pursue his evil doppelganger, Mr. Scratch, across the Arizona mesa towards the town of Night Springs. Scratch, a supernatural serial killer, has his evil plans set on Wake’s wife, Alice. Wake must learn to control reality itself and unravel the secret to Mr. Scratch’s demise while using the power of light to put an end to the darkness.

The PS Vita edition of Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 will feature online and local multiplayer, touchscreen functionality, NEAR and everything you would find in the PS3 version.
In addition, the PS Vita version includes a Spectator Mode and Replay function that allows players to watch or share exciting matches over wi-fi. PS Vita exclusive Gold Herald color options are also available for the characters. As an integrated option, gamers can use the PS Vita as the “Ultimate Controller” to play the PS3 version of the game.
Heroes & Heralds is a separate mode that adds new and customizable features to online and offline gameplay. Players will choose between two factions – Heroes or Heralds– and will engage in a series of battles with the opposing side to help save the world or take it over.

The free Heroes & Heralds mode DLC for Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 on PS3 and X360 is available today for download. In addition, Capcom is pleased to confirm that the Heroes & Heralds mode will be included standard in the upcoming PlayStation Vita version of Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3!
Heroes & Heralds is a separate mode that adds new and customizable features to online and offline gameplay. Players will choose between two factions – Heroes or Heralds– and will engage in a series of battles with the opposing side to help save the world or take it over.
Gameplay in the Heroes & Heralds mode will be altered through the acquisition of Ability cards that range from basic alterations (speed boost) to game-changing, combo enhancing powers (invisibility or ability to pass through projectiles). Cards can be used in online and offline versions of the Heroes & Heralds modes as well as the training mode. Ability cards are based on classic Marvel and Capcom characters.
Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 takes the epic battle to all new heights with 12 new characters from the Marvel and Capcom universes, a refined fighting system,eightnew stagesand new modes. The PS Vita edition of Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 will feature online and local multiplayer, touchscreen functionality, NEAR and everything you would find in the PS3 version.
