Set in a futuristic world where humanity is in danger of the N5S virus, an infection spreading across the world turning humans in to zombie-like beings, Zouichi Kanoe and his AI companion Fuyu Kanoe are agents sent out by Toha Heavy Industries to retrieve humans who are able to resist and transmute the new disease.
This is the plot to BIOMEGA, a new cyberpunk Sci-Fi manga being released under Viz Media come February 2nd. So if you’re a Sci-Fi fan you should be on the lookout for this title once it hits the shelves! What better personifies the term “Sci-Fi” than an agent aided by an android on a quest to stop an infection turning the population of the human race in to zombies, all taking place in a futuristic setting.

VIZ Media will debut BIOMEGA on February 2nd. The new series, rated ‘M’ for Mature Audiences, will be published under the VIZ Signature imprint and will carry a MSRP of $12.99 U.S. / $16.99 CAN.
Zoichi Kanoe plunges into the depths of 9JO, a sprawling island city in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, in search of Eon Green, a girl with the power to transmute the N5S virus. The deadly contagion is spreading across the world, turning humans into disfigured, zombie-like “drones.” But he’s not the only one looking for her. Agents of the Public Health Service’s Compulsory Execution Unit are also in hot pursuit, with sinister designs of their own. Zoichi and his trans-human allies have no time to waste; the countdown to the apocalypse has begun!

Tsutomu Nihei debuted with the acclaimed manga short story BLAME!, which was nominated for North America’s Harvey Award and won the Shiki Award in Japan. The artist also created NOiSE, a manga prequel to BLAME!. His visually striking Wolverine tie-in SNIKT! was published by Marvel Comics along with a commission by Bungie Studios for the HALO graphic novel.

Super Street Fighter IV is a forthcoming competitive fighting game currently being produced by Capcom. It is an updated version of/sequel to Street Fighter IV scheduled to be released for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 as a stand-alone product. Set to be released on April 27th, 2010 for North America, April 28th, 2010 for Japan, and April 30th, 2010 for Europe.

THQ has announced that the MX vs. ATV Reflex soundtrack is now available for download or purchase. So if you enjoy the music in the game and would like to listen to it during other activities then pick yourself up a copy. Just try not to let the adrenaline rush take over while you’re out on the road, IRL crashes tend to hurt a lot more than your character in the game lets on…

THQ Inc. today announced the official soundtrack for MX vs. ATV Reflex, the latest edition to the multimillion unit-selling franchise, is now available for purchase and download at online retailers worldwide. The soundtrack, helmed by renowned music industry veteran Raymond Herrera (Fear Factory, Arkaea) through his company, 3volution Productions, unites a powerful blend of original, hard hitting creations with the game’s cutting edge features, including intuitive, dual-stick control and real-time terrain deformation. In addition, the soundtrack is compatible with most MP3 players (including with iPod), iTunes and Windows Media Player.
Recorded at Temple Studios in Chatsworth, Calif., which Herrera co-owns and operates with B-Real (Cypress Hill), the soundtrack came to fruition through collaboration between Herrera, his industry colleagues and the team at THQ’s Rainbow Studios. The end result impressively reflects a variety of heavier music styles, with influences such as Killswitch Engage, Soilwork, Corrosion of Conformity and Fear Factory. Collaborators on the MX vs. ATV Reflex soundtrack included Christian Olde Wolbers (Fear Factory, Arkaea), Jon Howard (Threat Signal/Arkaea), heavy music industry professionals Jeff Kendrick and Mike Spreitzer, as well as emerging hip-hop artist Young De.
“The MX vs. ATV Reflex soundtrack is a perfect example of great synergy between the right music and a compelling gameplay experience,” said THQ Vice President of Global Brand Management Brian Coleman. “The overall product is certain to have appeal with a widespread audience of game enthusiasts, off-road fans and mainstream consumers.”

Good news! Patch 1.0 for Divinity II – Ego Draconis is now live and available for download. The patch addresses a variety of issues including fixes for game save files and a minor quest bug (The “Charlie the Goblin” quest). Simply start the game on Xbox LIVE and accept the update.
Just as a reminder, Divinity II – Ego Draconisis available now on the Xbox 360® videogame and entertainment system from Microsoft and Windows PC!
Also! The Quest for Glory contest is still going on for those of you who haven’t entered yet. Better hurry though; It’s ending soon!
